BOARD OF DEACONS
Affirming God's call, we offer a ministry of caring, witness, and service; strive to follow Jesus Christ's example by serving the needy, sick, and lonely, both within and outside our community of faith; and are inspired by the Spirit to serve our church, community and God.
The Board of Deacons exists to care for others. We do this with enthusiasm, fellowship, and pride. There are many ways we can give a helping hand, whether a meal, a ride, or a visit is needed. Please contact the church office or any deacon if you or someone you know needs assistance in any way.
OPERATION BLESSING
Operation Blessing is a local ecumenical ministry that provides food for the
needy families in the Canfield area. The warehouse for the food is located in
Westminster Hall at Canfield Presbyterian Church. Volunteers from various churches
in the area offer their time to bag groceries and distribute the food on a monthly
basis.
Bagging the groceries takes place on the second Thursday of the month at 10:00
a.m. Food distribution is on the third Thursday of the month at 10:00 a.m.
Betty Brindiar is the Director of Operation Blessing.
