Education Ministry
One of the great ends of the church is to nurture the spiritual growth of children, youth and adults. Canfield Presbyterian Church does this with ministry for all ages.
SUNDAY: FAITH GROWERS is for all ages 4-through adults at 9-9:50 a.m. The age 4-Grade 4 has a Workshop Rotation model of doing a lesson for three weeks in different ways including drama, art and games. The youth have two classes: (Middle School Grades 5-8 and High School Grades 9-12). Adults have 2 options: Bible 101 and a Current Issues/Bible Class.
The NURSERY which is for children birth through age 3 is located just off the Fellowship Hall. The well-qualified worker is available each Sunday from 8:45-11:45 a.m. and on Wednesdays from 5:30-6:45 p.m. during F.E.A.S.T
WORSHIP ENRICHMENT is for children aged 4-Grade 2 and is held on Sundays after the Children’s Message. The children learn about worship through hands-on activities. They are involved in mission activities as well as Heifer Project.
F.E.A.S.T. (Food, education and singing, together) is a program for all ages which is held on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Choir and learning activities are available for children aged 4-Grade 4. The Middle School Youth (Gr. 5-8) have their fellowship time. Sr. High Youth (Gr. 9-12) have Bible Study. All Adults will be together studying "Soul Feast" led by Pastor Larry. Dinner is at 6:30 p.m. with the suggested donations of $5 for adults and $2.50 for children. Special activities such as the Easter Egg Hunt and visit of the Candy Cane man happen during F.E.A.S.T.
YOUTH There are many activities in which the youth from Grade 5-12 can be involved from FAITH GROWERS, F.E.A.S.T., GIRL’S FRIDAY, HIGH SCHOOL FELLOWSHIP on Sundays to Mission trips.
